Really like Metric. Liked this album on the first listen - especially the above first single. Overall I think their last album was great. This album is seems to use some interesting instruments which makes it seem like a symphony at times. Different album for them a little.
One of my favorite punk bands from the last 10 years, Night Birds, just released a new album for the first time in 3 years.
Just super straight forward hardcore punk (this particular song features Jerry A from Poison Idea, to give an idea of their sound).

Fairly new to this band but I’m loving their new album LP5000
LP3 is phenomenal. I didn't know they had a new album, thanks for this.
Today is the release of new albums from Coheed and Cambria and ####ed Up. Both are really good - don't be surprised to see ####ed Up get another Polaris Prize nomination for Dose Your Dreams

New album from Papernut Cambridge released this week. Papernut Cambridge is kind of a supergroup collective, featuring two original members of Hefner, as well as the guitarist from Death in Vegas, and other musicians (Robert Rotifer, Mary Epworth, Ralegh Long, etc.) who revolve in and out of the band.

I am not a big fan of hip hop or rap and was never a huge fan of Rage Against the Machine, but have always respected Tom Morello's creativity and musicianship. Heard Morello introduce this track from his new solo record this morning and I think it's really good. + Killer Mike!
