Haha, it's all good man. I'd love to take my dad to an F1 race, but he's not really a sports guy (weirdo!).
Have you been to the RBRing?? Spa is my dream race, sit at Eau Rouge and just bask in its glory. Paul Ricard looks ok as well. Just hope they got the traffic figured out. Marseilles looks awesome ��

No just raced it a lot in the F1 games and from how beautiful it looks on tv with the countryside and mountains and stuff. Sadly any euro races are a bit of a reach right now but someday...
I have family in Italy so I’d love to do a big trip one of these days and do Monza. Incorporate it into a larger vacation to Italy.

I hear ya. We saved for a few years for this one.
Monza would be awesome. Visit a few F1 HQ, Lambo, Ferrari, Ducati, shops etc. Its a motorheads paradise. I've had a few buddies do that trip and loved every second of it.

I've been to these tracks, never for a race though:
Montreal-rode the track on a bixi-bike
Spa-walked around a bit by the main straight/ Eu Rouge, motorbike race was on, and drove up and around the back side to Kemmel Straight
Monaco- programmed the rental car GPS to the track and did a lap the best I could(some roads are not accessible/one way). It was not a record. My wife called me weird, but humoured me.
Nurburgring- Watched a bit of a practice session on the F1 track and stopped at a couple spots on the ring watching prototype cars and generics.

FP2 looks like it'll be on TSN2 this morning. That should give a good idea of how well the new Merc engines are performing (they say about a tenth over a lap). Will see if the Ferrari and Hondas still have that extra punch on the high power Montreal streets.
Ferrari has said that they feel like Montreal should be similar to Bahrain...

Traded up my tickets across from Merc garage on main straight today. It was hot as hell on the morning. So hot we walked around a bit to get different views from GA areas on drs straight, wall of champions and a bit at turn 6/7 I think it was.
