They dropped half a billion dollars on the license. I doubt they'll let it show on any other streaming service. It'll might only be on regular TV on NBC. NBCPeacock isn't even going to have it.
So R-rated Korean Battle Royale becomes PG-13 rated American Hunger Games becomes R-rated Korean... ok, now I've lost my train of thought.

Glad you guys are enjoying Seinfeld. I've tried re-watching it with my kids and it just doesn't hold up IMO.
I’d just start with some of the classic episodes maybe and let them get into it if they want. The parkade, festivus, bottle deposit scheme, Kramer test driving the car, etc.

One thing I find with American programming that when a series goes on for a long time, the characters often become very unlikeable.
Series writers really seem to amplify character traits over time. Like on friends when Joey was a loveable doofus then became a complete idiot.
Although for Seinfeld, they were not very nice people to begin with.
that and they run out of storylines, of course.
I know money talks, but I wish it was more like the UK with short series runs.
After 4 or 5 years, there usually is nothing else for a show to say. especially comedies.
Yeah Seinfeld has held up extremely well for a 25 year old show. Much, much better than any of its contemporaries, especially Friends. It's actually one of the most impressive aspects of the show is how well it has held up.
It's one thing to not like the show, but it is way off base to say it hasn't held up well.

I still think Seinfeld is funny, but it is dated and younger generations have no idea what life was like before cell phones, GPS, dating apps, etc.
I think entertaining is an understatement. It's insane.
“Did I check 6th grade kids into the boards? I did. Cocaine is a hell of drug.”
I don't want to spoil but the "muscle" for the mob's other job for the team is hilarious.
If you're a fan of hockey, true crime and gangster movies the venn diagram from this documentary is a circle.
Watched this and looked up the roster on hockeydb and turns out a guy I played minor hockey with was on this team. Didn't get any camera time as he wasn't a goon, but saw him once during one of the scenes.
The first half of Money Heist season 5 (the first 5 episodes) was just released. It isn’t quite as enjoyable as the first seasons, but ended on a pretty decent cliffhanger
With the 20th anniversary of 9/11 coming up on Saturday I watched “Turning Point: 9/11 and the war on terror”
I thought it was really well done. I still remember that day clearly. Also pretty timely with the Afghanistan news the last while. Really recommend it.

In the book Under the Banner of Heaven, Kraukauer tracks the transformation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, contrasting it with a small fundamentalist sect called the School of Prophets.
Two brothers who were part of the group, Ron and Dan Lafferty, were charged for the 1984 murders of their sister-in-law Brenda Lafferty, along with her baby daughter Erica. Ron alleged he had received visions from God instructing him to kill Brenda and Erica
