King of Shawarma on 12th Ave has it too.

I pretty much never eat shawarma or donairs but this thread gave me a craving. Part of the reason is that I didn't think there were any places close to where I live. Turns out there's a Jerusalem Shawarma about 5 minutes away.

Service was good, they were super friendly and quick. Good value. Huge wrap for the price. I'm no shawarma expert but I'm liking it. Will go back for sure. I'll give he donair a try next time.

Oh, except no red vegetable next time. Shredded red cabbage I think? That was a mistake.

Shawarma Knights on 14th and about 14th SW has the best lamb/beef shawarma that I've tried in the city

I'd avoid the donair meat altogether personally. Plenty of places do an excellent chicken or lamb/beef shawarma that isn't using fake meat.

Shawarma Palace has it. Can't comment on taste as I don't eat lamb but I've heard it's really good.

It's a lamb/beef mix. Don't think many places have lamb on its own as it would be pretty expensive.

Is the donair place on McKenzie Towne high street open?

If so any good?
The place on High Street is okay, but IMO too expensive and there are better options. Butter Chicken Hut in Copperfield is better value and much tastier.

Has anyone here tried Mozy's Cafe in Lynnwood (Ogden)? We live in the neighborhood and love it, but I haven't seen any talk on here. You want a lot of meat on your donair? This is the place. He has chicken shawarma as well and a bunch of other great options. You can get an awesome rice dish as well, really great. I usually get a mix of chicken and beef on the rice, so amazing. Also, the price is awesome. $5 donairs for the kids (still larger than most places regular priced donairs). Under $10 for regular donairs, I barely ever finish mine.

Anyway, give it a whirl
