Guess that canival sideshow "super fight" with Brock will have to be at WrestleMania. That's a shame.
If the stories are even true at this point. they're continuing on with Brock as their champion and booking him in future live events.
But if Jones does get turfed don't be surprised if WWE holds a MMA style tournament like they did with that boxing tournament that they did a few years ago.
And they'll bet on a legitimate event leading to a Lesnar vs Jones final. Kind of like in the boxing one they wanted Steve Williams against Butterbean.

Brawl for All was 20 years ago and it was a disaster. There's no way the WWE would ever do anything like that again. Plus Jones would have to fight somewhere that wouldn't uphold his suspension, and I doubt those are the kinds of places WWE would want to hold a huge event.

In related news - McGregor is actually the lineal WWE Brawl for All champion. Which technically was MMA since takedowns were allowed even though they were wearing boxing gloves.

If anything, given that the stupidty of the average fan gives us Conor-Floyd, why wouldn't a non-sanctioned, steroid free for all fight between these two be a mega money maker? I'm way more likely to pay money to see Jones and Lesnar fully roided out going at it than Conor-Floyd. I'm sure many would gladly pay for that. Put it Dubai where sanctioning it is irrelevant, and I could easily see this doing 3 million PPVs.

I'll believe that the Nunes fight is actually happening when she makes the walk around 10pm MT .
Don't mean to open old wounds, but I was at UFC 149 in Calgary. All of the fights up until the 2nd fight of the main card were actually pretty good.
Many lessons were learned from that Calgary event.
UFC is actually offering refunds for the Edmonton fight because of the cancelled main event.
And there's no freakin' way the refs are gonna let two fighters hug each other for ten minutes without advancing their position. That's really what killed the main card at UFC 149.
Was at the fights last night, ended up being a great event with lots of finishes. Melendez vs Stephens was particularly brutal. Thought Shevchenko did enough to win, Nunes wasn't really doing anything other than walking forward and throwing weak leg kicks.
Disappointed in how fast the Edmonton crowd started booing fights, and the lame Oilers chant at a UFC event.

So Jon Jones b sample was also positive for turnibol. While a great talent and fighter, his legacy in the sport is somewhat tainted ala Lance Armstrong.
That's all on him and his team. After what he's been through you'd think they'd have that man clean as a whistle but it's really hard for cheaters to play clean once they've gone down that path. Sucks on many levels....sucks for Jones and his team itself. Sucks for DC. Sucks for the fans big time and doesn't help the UFC brand at all even though he is responsible for it and no one else.
Is anyone here a member of the fight club and have access to the early ticket code for Fight Night 26 in Winnipeg this December? I'd love to surprise my cousin with it for a early xmas present but with how stacked the card is I'm pretty sure there's not going to be much left when it gets to the general public sale. I'd REALLY appreciate it. Feel free to PM if not comfortable posting it.
