I put one in my cart, but decided against pulling the trigger from Best Buy.
I'll pick one up in a year from Kijiji when the price dips.

My Best Buy order updated with a Canada Post tracking number, but the "Delivered Friday Mar. 3" has been removed so Monday I guess?

That's really what I should be doing, I should just cancel my order and get the WiiU version of the game.
I'm weak.

Same here...already have way too many games on my back log for PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U.
But I have a couple of 8 hour flights coming up and this feels prefect for that reason.

Is the jump from WiiU to Switch as big as the jump from PS3 to PS4?
I have a WiiU and was gonna surprise my Lady with the new Zelda, but now I'm wondering about upgrading to Switch. I think I wanna sell my WiiU since we hardly use it.

Not really no. There's a video with a graphics comparison posted above ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYofouY9smw)
The graphics are pretty similar.

So I'm one of those guys that didn't pre-order and every single switch in Calgary is sold out. Its really annoying you would think Nintendo would produce enough systems to meet the high demand. Scalpers on Amazon are asking $600 plus! Eff that noise.

I don't see how anyone can be surprised at a Nintendo console shortage on launch at this point. It's practically their signature.

Nintendo wants people think there is a lot of demand for the console when that's not necessarily the case. It doesn't look good if they have a ton of consoles on the shelves a few days after the launch.

All consoles sell out their day 1 allotments - so definitely not just a Nintendo dealio unfortunately.

Yeah, the problem is not if day one stock is snapped up. The problem is if the supply chain can't replenish within a couple weeks.

Yeah probably more like the 3DS screens.. which naturally have protection by nature of being closed, so maybe more like 2DS, good call though definitely need a screen protector since the screen is exposed during normal transport without a case.

Give it a few months and the PC might actually be the best way to play it. The Cemu emulator already plays most of the high profile WiiU library with very few issues, and the developers will be aggressively working towards getting BotW playable. With that comes PC hardware pushing 60 FPS easily and allowing for 4K upscaling

Let me know if you decide to stick with WiiU. After years of no replies my early 2015 Future Shop order of Zelda for WiiU appears to be shipping. I can't even see the order details or I get an error message, but I imagine it's pretty cheap and I could sell just for what I paid.

Really?
I mean it's one thing to emulate 20+ year old games you can't buy anymore but talking about pirating software that literally just came out isn't cool. There's other message boards available for this type of thing.
