Open but cleared poorly, very icy, but at least we don't have to cross the road anymore!

MEC has some decent things on sale right now. If you're looking for wool cycling socks they're marked down. Might be limited colours available though. Fenders, seats, full bikes, etc.

meh, I must own enough cycling stuff, because there were only about 4 things that caught my eye and the socks were too much ($15/pair), and the shoes and shorts I liked they did not have my size - oh well, the wife will be happy I did not buy anything

Wow. Just finished 57.5km of the loop. I can't do the whole thing due to time constraints.

Gonna finish my beer and head out for another few minutes.

Maui is cycling paradise.

I'm very jealous. Maui is on the cycling trip list for sure.

When this first went on clearance, I checked it out......it's one size fits all and really small.

Where did you rent from? We are going in a couple of weeks. I debated about bringing my own bike like I have in the past, but I don't really want to go through that effort.

West Maui Cycles.

It was $45 USD for the day. It was annoying because we were staying in South Kihei and the bike shop was in Lahaina.

Enjoy!

The bike I rented was really good. Specialized Zertz 105 or something like that. Much better than my POS at home.

Trying new bikes is part of the fun of renting a bike on vacation. But now that you've had a taste of a nicer bike, it's time for an upgrade at home.

I'm amazed at how many bikes I saw this morning. It's -18 and nobody seems to care. Fantastic!
