cost? the rumored offer for Tanev from van was 2 years at 4 million.

Hamonic isn't a 4m/year player

I will keep throwing out Dadanov's name until he's gone.
But his is 31 and on his last legs, Did I do that right?

They did try to sign Tanev though, he turned down a 2-year contract with $4 million AAV...

The player has to agree to sign with the team too. And Calgary’s offer was better.

Top-4 defensemen are all $4M+. Second pairing defensemen are mostly in a $4M category with rare exceptions.

Bruins have been in contact with Dadonov, which makes sense if reports are that they’re out on Hall are correct.

What are your guys' thoughts on some of the potential cheaper options? Duclair or Mikhael Granlund?

i'll clarify: I don't believe Hamomic is a 4M/year dollar player....

he was at 3.75 last year, and he didn't get better with age...

We need to go for a cheap 1/2 year deal and not go after Toffoli, so I would be open to this.

If you sign Mangiapane and Kylington to their respective deals, I would love Granlund for only a few mil, if he were to accept that.

If we don't get Hall or Toffoli, I would definitely be interested in Granlund. I think he can play play center and wing(not sure which side). Could be wrong.

Out of the cheaper options I think the Flames could be in on Perry, Frolik, and Kovalchuk. I doubt any of those deals would be a lot higher than league min.

kahun is an under the radar guy that i've been hoping calgary might land... especially with the cap crunch...

duclair and toffoli would be nice, but the former is a bit of a wild card and toffoli is going to command 5M (which he isn't worth imo)

Granlunds most recent recent production probably warrants Turris money.

Speaking of Kovalchuk, sort of surprised he hasn't signed with Montreal yet. Thought that was a foregone conclusion.

Granlund could be a nice cheap option. See if he can rebound on a 1-2 year deal. Put him on that 2RW spot.

Has Hoffman signed?

Seems quiet for a guy who can flat out score.

Eklund speculating the Preds are calling a Preds conference tomorrow likely Hall.

I doubt it aren’t all press conferences now just zoom meetings?
