What's the deal again, two carry overs per season?

Man I was jacked for the 10 seconds Lando was in p2. But a lot of surprises in qualifying. Sainz bumped out of q3. Checo out qualifying Versatppen. Bottas p6, Ocon out qualifying Alonso .

I think Hamilton is in for a rough day tomorrow. Pole is nice and all but he's got no help in the top 5 and 2 Redbulls up his arse from green light. And Lando Norris is gonna podium, book it.

Yuki crashes out = Mazepin best F1 start to date.

Hamilton and Merc sounded shocked to get P1, Checo out qualifying Max was awesome I hope that keeps things interesting and a strong finish with Bottas being further back could be the start of keeping the constructors a tight race. I also hope it rains tomorrow.

F1 kind of irks me a little. If you're a lap down you stay a lap down. You shouldnt be gifted a lap back.

Edit: actually the Nascar version works for me. The first car thats a lap down gets it back.

That was quite the race. WTF is going on with Bottas where he is even in a position to tangle with George? The only time Bottas should see him in a race is when he laps him.

@Jayswin...yes, everyone gets 2 missed weekends with race picks from the previous weekend carried forward. You'll also love that Stroll got a 5s penalty for illegally passing Gasly...which puts him down a spot. He is poo.

I'd highly suggest getting the calendar synced to your google/outlook calendar. It works well for me! Just go here: https://www.formula1.com/en/racing/2021.html - Top right, sync calendar.

Reminder to those that haven't decided on paying $10 for prizes. I'll leave it open until the end of Race 4. Based on this weekends prelims (and having picks carried forward) I'd highly suggest @KelVarnesen fires over the $$

And I'm so bitter about stupid Bottas...that f'ing guy...he's cost me so many good results. I had Russell in the points. Yes, it was Russells fault...but WTF is he doing racing back with a Williams. He's done after this year.

@DoubleK...I dont think its a traction issue. Hamilton went P2-P9-P2 and fastest lap by 8/10ths. I think the car is difficult to drive and Bottas simply isnt coping well. Bottas usually does well on the low traction surfaces and he was simply awful this weekend.

Battle at the top is close w/ Btimbit having a 1 pt lead over TimSJ and 3pts over FurnaceFace.

Both Bottas and Hamilton were oversteering like crazy. Not normal from Merc. Not sure if it's the floor or what, but the car doesn't look positive under acceleration one bit. Bottas said he was struggling with the rear of the car and Toto said that the team had driveability issues in Bahrain.
