I usually get a long sleeved Flames shirt this time of year and i noticed almost every person in line had a 3rd jersey or other 3rd jersey related merchandise.
So CP overwhelmingly may not like them but other fans are buying them.
I didn't mind the look of them at all vs Det.

I don't claim to have any design skills - and this is a quick attempt with paint (not even photoshop, eh) - but I think the shoulder patch needs to be flipped with the main logo -- moving the flaming C to the shoulders.

I don't think the western-style shoulder yolk has quite the effect they were hoping for. Every time I saw a close-up of a player from the front all I could think of was Batman's cowl.

Get rid of the wordmark and just make the shoulder patch the main logo with the flaming C on the shoulders and we're headed in the right direction.
Still can't get on board with the cowboy-style shoulder yokes either. I'll be happy when this jersey goes the way of the horsehead.

Finally saw the jersey in person over the weekend.
Count me in the "it's decent but could have been better" camp. I like the look and stuff, but the word mark just looks soo out of place. I won't be buying one.
And what the hell kind of material are they using to make it? I was at Jersey City and this thing felt cheap and thin.
