Yeah. I couldn't get through the cringe. And I say that as someone who loves watching Scott's Tots during The Office reruns.

You are bang on that most of these activists are just living off the hope that they can relive some of the Boomer nostalgia for the 60's and 70's.

Like, if I have to see current footage of a protest where the "hey, hey, ho ho (insert noun) has got to go..." chant one more time...

And a bonus from the follow-ups to that Halifax tweet. Two idiots pictured with a giant banner saying "DECOLONIZE DECARBONIZE"

Independent of any arguments about the methods this group is using, adding patently ridiculous far-left rhetoric like the anti-"colonization" argument is only going to dilute their message and make them look like completely unhinged fools.

If they want these protests to matter, they desperately need to avoid the mixed-message morass that OWS became. They need a single message, and they need to hammer that one message. Otherwise, in a surprisingly short period of time, all that will be left of their group will be a Wikipedia article.

I can't wait for the documentaries about this protest generation. Featuring amazing soundtracks filled with Lil Pump, Halsey and Shawn Mendes.

I have a feeling a pair of hysterical activists who can't put forth a cogent argument aren't the biggest history buffs.

Should have tear gassed the lot of them and fine each person $10,000. Proceeds to charity.

That video just smacked of what was being said by the people in the Occupy Movement just before they released their manifesto in a moment called the laughter heard around the world.

Then they picked up their poop stained tents and their bongo drums and went home.

Just that simple.

You want to gather at the side of the road and yell and scream at motorists in support of your cause? Fill your boots friends.

The very second they stepped foot on the roadway and altered the way traffic was supposed to work and endagering themselves and others, they have crossed a line that is clear to understand and have done so on purpose. That's why they should be arrested and booked. Each and every one of them. Every time it happens.

You have right to free assembly and free speech...but only within the law. Those are the rules and if they are not followed, then there should be mandatory consequences.
I heard one speaking from Edmonton and their aim was to be arrested. Then they hopefully wanted to get interviewed to get their word out.

But sometimes, when you're driving and Fortunate Son comes on, don't you just think "What if my car was a Huey and I was strafing a bunch of innocent rice farmers with my M60 door gun?"

So they basically closed down a chunk of Edmonton. Thats practically a public service.
