Shapo up two sets to love as he consolidates the break. Keep it going Shapo!

5 set matches are so fascinating. Nishikori, Chung and Carreno Busta all came back from 0-2 down.
Sock lost again. That guy is done.
Dr. Ivo won 67 76 76 76 lol

Well, those were 2 sloppy games from Denis - Needs to hold serve to force a tie-breaker.

There was some anger in that game - Off to the tie-breaker we go.

Finally Shapo does it! 7-3 in the 3rd set tiebreak!
Harder than it should've been but wins a win.

That was a nice regroup by Denis to not let that third set slip away.

51 winners to 31 unforced errors. That'll do nicely.

I was surprised Bianca didn't receive a code violation.

Milos breaks and takes the 1st set over Kyprios!
Hope to see some salty Aussie fans in another hour. Magic Johnson will go into overdrive and serve every 2 seconds to leave the court early.

. There have been several times in his career when Nick Kyrgios has been guilty of not giving his best but at the Australian Open yesterday, he was simply outplayed by a better player.

“He played unbelievable. Unbelievable serving. Never seen serving like that in my life. I’ve never been a part of it. I was just watching it literally going side to side. I was trying to mix up where I was standing, trying to move before, during, like trying to do anything.
“He was in such a good rhythm on serve, I couldn’t do anything. He was way too good tonight. Every time I returned, he served and volleyed. He volleyed unbelievable. He was so composed on big points, he made returns, jag returns on big points on my serve. He was way too good for me tonight.

A huge win for Bianca last night as she cracks the top 100 in the WTA rankings (live ranking has her at #88). Barring something drastic happening, I think her days at ITF challenger events are over.
