Glad to have gotten Rogers signed up for 2 more seasons then. Big hole to fill with Daniels gone.

I really dont believe that Saskatchewan is a true option for him but maybe being used as leverage.
Huf wont play that game for long mind you, he might be the single biggest no nonsense executive in pro sports.

This...I understood the reasoning behind it at the time, and its hard to argue with the results, but it felt like there was a bitterness as well.

It would make me really pleased to wake up tomorrow with Saskatchewan being in the position of having the worst QB in the division for a few years. That said they had the worst quarterbacking in the division last year and finished second.

That could quickly flip to the Stamps if they don't get Bo locked down.

Unfortunately, if Bo goes elsewhere, you could wake up to the Stamps having that honour. Ladies and gentlemen your QB duo of Arbuckle and Cozart.

Having already lost Singleton, likely Johnson and possibly Davis as well, Im a little bit surprised that Huff hasnt landed any of the big name defensive players this morning. If we did lose Bo, this is looking like it could be a tough year at McMahon.
The D won more games for us this past season than the O did.

They will not be the only guys competing for a QB job...you can be assured of that.

Oh, I know that, just feeling a little on edge. Huff has earned a lot of trust, but man this is feeling like a really long morning/early afternoon.

Thurman as well - McManis has big shoes to fill, but I think he's ready to step up. Huff and his team are great at unearthing guys and the day is still young.

If Bo's number is $750k per than Huff honestly doesn't have the cap to sign big name defensive players and will have to rely on his talent scouting / pipeline to fill the defensive holes. If Bo doesn't sign here he can royally screw the Stamps for this year and next because the window to re-allocate those dollars will have passed with all the signings today. Given this year's unique free agency, there won't be the same kinds of opportunities in Free agency next year and it might get difficult to bring in US talent with the XFL starting up next year in addition to the AAF.
My inclination is that Bo wanted to go to free agency to maximize his earnings. Huff wasn't going to give him $700k+ prior to today, but he probably meets the ask today.

That’s never really been the Hufnagel way. He’ll trust his scouts to bring in players that fit the scheme that they want to run and I expect the Stamps still to have a good defence next year.

: Micah Johnson could look east: According to Dunk, Micah Johnson may be looking to move closer to home, making Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal possible landing spots.
