Sure, I'll even give you that this took things to a new low. I'm not excusing what Khabib and his team did at all.
But that does not change the fact of who kept lowering it so many times before.
At some point it was bound to happen and UFC should take a lot of responsibility for letting the farce build up so long.
And Conner is certainly no innocent victim here.
Ya, UFC is no vicim either. They egg this stuff on and make a tonne of money off of it. It finally, and inevitably, bit them.
UFC has allowed Conner to bring the sport down in class for a long time. It's about time someone came down to his level and beat him there without apology.
No excuses for Khabib lowering himself to Conner's level, but make no mistakes, It is Conner's level in the first place.
You play that game long enough, it will come back to you.
About time for Conner and hopefully the UFC doesn't turn the other cheek the next time a fighter turns the sport into a sideshow.
There is a big difference in trash talk and jumping thw fence to fight non-combatants. Conner is a showman. Khabib just showed how under the skin Conner got.
I think Conner can walk out head high that although he did physically beat him he mentally did.
The UFC has been a joke for awhile. I'm not against this nonsense, but the UFC hasn't taken a hard stance against it. Whether it's Lesnar who started this WWE garbage by acting like a raging bull, or McGregor attacking with weapons a bus, the UFC won't be getting my money anytime soon, especially to double-speak ownership like Dana White. Besides that, McGregor was beaten fair and square and called for the cheap showmanship so he got it.
No doubt UFC benefits from this sideshow as fans eat this up.

Clearly you don't.
Khabib and his team took it for much more than just pre fight showmanship; thus the reaction.
You can call it that but when the fighters themselves don't see it that way, what value is your opinion?

As Joe Rogan pointed out during the mayhem, Khabib is a prideful man, and he didn't take any of that as a joke or showmanship. He took it deadly seriously. S***-talk his family and he'll come after you.
No, it doesn't excuse Khabib, but it was set in motion by McGregor.
This....

Conor always goes overboard, but he does it to hype the fight, and is ALwAYS humble after the fight.
I just saw an Instagram clip of Connor taking a swing at one of Khabib’s guys before he was attacked. Dude was running after khabib who had just jumped in the crowd and Conor took a huge swing at him unprovoked.
Not only is it not true but that’s not how life works. Oh he’s a giant piece of #### all the time and constantly does classless scumbag stuff but when someone finally flips out at his BS it’s not Conor’s fault because he’s humble when he wins.
Khabib is an idiot but you play with fire, eventually you’re gonna get burned. This was a powder keg and Conor lit the match.

All I saw there was Khabib chaos and Conner defending by attacking back. Lets back up and ask if this clip exists if Khabib doesn’t jump the fence.
Connor took two pretty clear swings at a guy trying to get to the other side of the cage. Pretty easy to say that he wasn’t just standing by doing nothing when attacked.
Plus Easy to back it up one more time then and say does this clip exist if Connor doesn’t throw something throw the window of a bus trying to attack Khabibs team.
They are all idiots and none of them, including Dana and the UFC, are innocent in this mess.

So Connor can needle a guy and push his buttons for months, insulting him, insulting his family, etc., etc., etc. But if that guy finally snaps, it's not Connor's fault because he would have been nice to him eventually?? BS.
And make no mistake, Connor plays those games not just to hype the fight, but to try to get to his opponent, to get him emotional and off his game. As I said, he intentionally sets the pot to boiling, so can't cry innocent when it boils over.

Ok but does Conner do the bus thing if his guy doesn’t get BS attacked by Khabib.
Lets keep walking back. Conner actually is the honorable guy here despite his bluster. Khabib is a punk.
