Question Advent Calendar - For my Wife

Hey folks, CP to the rescue!

We were getting the advent calendars put for the 4 kids tonight (David's Tea, LEGO Friends, Chocolate, and Hot Wheels) and it occurred to me that it would have been nice of me to also get one for my Wife. Yep, missed the boat on forward thinking there!

Does anyone know of perhaps a nice coffee one, or maybe wine? Something else? She's not a beer drinker, so they are out.

Maybe I'll even get lucky with a sale since its technically now Dec 1, and buying it won't break the bank. : )

I bought one of those wooden advent calendars for my wife 2 years ago and each year I fill it will little nicknacks, candy, money (for morning coffee), etc. Nothing crazy but still fun.

We don’t do Xmas gifts for each other so this is the alternative.

My wife and I just started that this year. Around the start of Nov, we asked each other what we wanted for Christmas, but couldn't really think of anything. Then we saw some nice "fill them yourself" Advent Calendars, and decided we'd do that.

Looking forward to seeing what she's come up with, as she's pretty inventive.

I bought my wife the Willow Park Wine Advent calendar - 12 Wines of Christmas. It is suppose to be excellent.

I just checked for you, looks like it's sold out. Damn.

If you want to be super creative and score massive brownie points, you can make one. I received a homemade calendar that had everything ranging from chocolate to my favourite shampoo in a travel size.

You can get get the supplies at Michael's and just pick up a range of items. Best gift that I have ever received. 25 days of surprises and it was nothing too big either.

LMAO! Some great chuckles here, but still looking for a good option. No time to make anything myself, this last minute.... she makes a coffee every morning. There must be a coffee one somewhere. I'll start searching

In that case, get a month size pill dosette, and put 1 bean in every day. By Christmas, she'll have enough beans for one cup of coffee. That's how you do true love.

Buy a nice mug for day 1.

Every night, toss something into it coffee related in incrementally worse and worse thoughtfulness until the end?

(ie: chocolate covered beans in dark/white/milk, tea spoon, Aeropress/french press, pack of coffee, flavoured creamers, biscotti, flavour shots coffee crisp, star bucks card, tim horton's card, mc Donalds card, instant coffee packs, cream and sugar you steal from a restaurant, a dram of whiskey from your collection, a banana... etc.)

Costco had a popular wine one. But you had to be prepared back in October to get it.

A buddy did a home made wine one a few years ago. Bought a bunch of bottles and just wrapped them and put number tags on them.

Ended up being cheaper than the pre-made ones, and can customize it a bit more.

I’ve got enough stock of cutting boards I think that you could give her a new one everyday. Let me know.
