Falcon and Winter Soldier looks good, I only hope they don't lean into their frenemy relationship to much. It was funny and spontaneous in Civil War, but it is hardly enough to carry a series if its the running punch line each episode..

Neat to see Zemo with his comics accurate costume though. I wonder how they will rationalize him wearing a purple balaclava.

I dont know....I'm kind of looking forward to a pseudo-buddycop series.

Wait you can lock in? Netflix just raises their prices whenever they want and gives you a month notice.

You can sign up for a year and then not pay the new price until it's time to renew next year.

If you're on month-to-month, the price will go up when it goes up. You can't lock in your month-to-month price.

I was thinking of taking a few months break from Disney+, but I’ll probably renew because of star. Smart play by them. People who started off right at the beginning were about to end their yearly membership.

Quite possible. I was going off memory and can't login to netflix at work. I just thought for one of the price bumps I didn't get charged for a while.

I just read you only get the old price locked in for 6 months.

Disney says current prices for existing subscribers (prior to February 23rd) will be honoured for six months, with the price change taking effect on the monthly or annual renewal date following August 22nd, 2021.

I just signed up for the year, going to drop Hulu when it's up for renewal. Star has most of the stuff I was using Hulu for and I'll save quite a few bucks by not having to pay for Hulu + VPN w/ static IP

?? I think I got it about 2 weeks in, and my renewal was at the end of November. I get 9 months at the discounted price.
I don't think this is a money grab at all, I really just think the first 2 years was a discounted rate (when I compare it to Netflix prices) because they didn't have the content engine fully up and running.

You are right. I don't know what I was thinking about.

Oh well. I'm happy that they are getting Hulu material to disney+. Been waiting for so long to be able to watch Futurama again on a streaming platform. One of my favourite shows.

So for maximum cheapness sign up for a year subscription in early August.
