The Bengals got a player in Burrow.

Burrow has been fine, but his weapons are middling at best, and that defense is atrocious. Nick Chubb is excellent but he's not THIS good.

It's weird to say but I think the Browns might have the best ground game in the league. Chubb + Hunt are outstanding.

Burrow also got no protection. 61 pass attempts without an INT and no time all night is pretty impressive.

Let's face it Burrow could outplay Mahomes this year and his reward would be 5 wins. That many drop backs behind that line is the old Career Limiting Move....

For those who thought this was bad...next week its Jacksonville and Miami.

There's no maybe about it. Best 1-2 backfield in the league.

Yeah I was really fired up for that game yesterday, my Steelers fan buddy laughed at my "no spoilers" text haha. Both looked good, I'm really impressed with Burrow actually. Looks very poised for a rookie in week 2 with zero OL. I like how he looks for Green a lot too. Just a calmness to his game you don't expect in a rockpile

Browns might have the best pair of RBs in the league, but Baltimore is in a league of their own as a running unit because of Lamar. They did just have an NFL record for rushing yards last year.

That's a good point.

In terms of overall rushing attack having a guy like Lamar makes defending considerably more difficult because scheming for a running QB who has his skills is proving to be a real challenge.

The Browns have two legitimate top tier backs. Kareem Hunt is still starting in KC and be a 1000/1000 threat if he doesn't get caught on video punching out that woman...even though she was a real piece of work herself. What they've done is put themselves in a spot where they don't have to Franchise Chubb or overpay him when his rookie deal is up. They have Hunt locked up on the Personal Misconduct Discount.

The Pats are loading up to run too - one blogger predicts they will run more than 525 times this season:

https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/pat...ts-2020-season

Quote:
You gotta play to your strengths. And ground-and-pound looks like the main strength of the 2020 Patriots offense.

Only three times since Bill Belichick’s been in charge have the Patriots been over 500 rushes in the regular season (2004, 2008, 2012). The most they ran it was in ’04 with Corey Dillon leading the way (524). Last year, they ran it 447 times.

But this year, they start the season with a healthier offensive line, a healthy fullback, a houseful of diverse backs and a quarterback who can tuck it too. Additionally? They have a collection of pass-catching question marks. They were 25th in YPC last year (3.81). They’ll be better this year. Run, run, run, run away.

Rams are re-signing Robert Woods to a 4 year, 65m deal. Are they playing with the salary cap turned off or what? Ramsey, Kupp and Woods with fat new deals in addition to Goffs and Donalds contracts, have to wonder how they plan on filling a 53 man roster.

Drew Lock took a bad sack and looked very injured. TREVOR LAWRENCE COME ON DOWN!

I mean unless you think a Denver team with all backups on defence and Jeff Driskel at QB is winning a single game. That throwing shoulder didnt look good.

The Niners are getting ruined injury wise. Garoppolo with a tweaked knee, Bosa carted off with a knee and now the cart for Thomas. Brutal.

NFC East should be stripped of their playoff berth. What a dog#### division.

All the Nyheim Hines hype this week was, er, not warranted.

Sadly punt returns don't count in Yahoo leagues either.

This might be worse than that time I was in a two-QB league and briefly ran with Blaine Gabbert and RGIII.

Imagine if Washington wins this afternoon, they would have a 2 game lead over everyone.
