Tough call. This feels like a bait and switch, but on the other hand it's kind of cool to go into a movie and get a big surprise. It just so happens that in this instance, the surprise isn't necessarily a good one.
Between the cast, director and story. I can't wait.
Its a breath of fresh air to get a non-american Hollywood war story. Like many of the Canadian feats that have gone "un-glorified" by the American Hollywood machine, the British evacuation at Dunkirk was monumental to the early years of the war.
There's actually a lot of movies featuring the Limeys. War Horse, King's Speech, and even Dunkirk was kind of covered in Atonement. People see the UK as bucolic idyllic underdogs so it's easy to root for them, when in fact they were diabolical and as industrialized as Germany.

great great movie haven't watched it in a few years.Should really spend some time reading the book.
Pro-tip, change the speed of this to 1.25 to have the narrator's pacing sound more natural... just weird script reading.
Anyway, definitely a few to get hyped for in there.
Ghost in the Shell looks pretty rediculous.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 should be fun.
"Promethius 2" (Alien Covenant) could be good...
Gal Gadot's hot.
Despicable Me 3 will be a nice one to take the kids to see... and enjoy just as much myself.
The new Spiderman looks fun.
Dunkirk looks really well done.
Dark Tower will either be great or horrible
Same as Justice League.
Blaaaaaaaaaade Runnnnnnnnnnner!
and of course... EP8!
Lots there I'm looking forward to, but even as someone who really likes animated films, I find it really hard to get even remotely excited about Despicable Me 3; I loved the first, but for me Illumination has to be the most disappointing animated film studio out there. They haven't done anything that comes close to that original, and I'm increasingly of the opinion that they just got lucky with it.
The major complaint with the last one was that it was unexplained and overly unpredictable.
I think those unexplained complaints would be better described as it making no sense (alien is Christian allegory now?) and unpredictable in the sense that the characters frequently made non sensical decisions.
