I wonder which batteries are the best for pelting people? AAAs seem way too light. AAs might be good, but I think Cs or 9V are probably the best for distance and pelt. A 9V thrown overhand, but like a skipping stone, would probably go pretty far, and if it impacted perfectly, the mark on the recipient's face would be hilarious. Ds might be right for someone strong. A D to the face would really suck. Yeah. Wait, what are we talking about?

Easily the best current mascot and I really wish we could get scorch out of jail

Gritty's upper lip is a darker shade of red/orange than the rest of his fur. Like a hobo with nicotine stains on his moustache.

So he's not good on ice and probably got another concussion. I guess that explains the googly eyes.

This is the greatest mascot ever. It's been a long time since I've been moved to tears like this.

I do have to say though, having a mascot shooting people with the t-shirt cannon at centre ice is arguably the funniest thing I've seen in a long time and probably only acceptable in Philadelphia.

The City of Brotherly Love and T-Shirt Cannon Assassinations.

Cold. Blood.
And thats why nobody messes with him. And in fairness, Scorch is an ember and that first responder was a Fire Fighter, it was really 'Kill or Be Killed.'
