bullet dodged for sure. The wheels are flying off fast and he would have been crushed in the PL.
You are supposed to be staunch friends and Allies so that we can all hate the Dutch together!

I know that Boateng has been criticized that he hasnt been focusing on his game as much as he should but its startling to me how fast he went downhill.

You hear it now from the Legend himself!

Quote:
Maradona, who along with Pele is widely considered to be one of the best players of all time, said Messi was one player at his club Barcelona and another with the national side.

"We shouldn't deify Messi any longer," he told Fox Sports. "He's Messi when he plays for Barcelona. Messi is Messi when he wears that shirt, and he's another Messi with Argentina.

"He's a great player but he's not a leader. It's useless trying to make a leader out of a man who goes to the toilet 20 times before a game."

That comment was believed to refer to Messi's extreme nerves before games, which have seen him vomit ahead of some important matches.
http://global.espn.com/football/arge...-before-a-game

But I'm sure that if he was doing lines of coke off the toilet tank Diego's tune would be different.

with Macedonia losing that group is now totally up in the air. Gibraltar still has a path to the semis.

With four more years of doping ahead of 2022, maybe they can be a threat?

Another International Break....is it just me or do they feel more frequent this year?

And follow up to that, has anybody actually bought the Nations League rights in Canada yet?

What a match between Croatia and Spain. De Gea has been poor for a while and he literally handed Croatia the match.

The English just gave the Americans a beat-down.

"This is revenge for 1776 you bitches!"

I doubt they're all that 'Thankful' now!

This has nicely set up England-Croatia on Sunday for all the marbles.
Winner moves onto the semis, a draw and Spain advances.

Well after a rather dour period after making the SF of the 2014 World Cup, it appears the Dutch are back. De Jong in particular looks incredible, made Kante look bad today. Lloris did well to keep it to 2-0. And Germany now gets relegated to Group B with the Dutch win today.

Or there could be a last minute and unexpected annexation and they wind up playing Poland?
