Hard-to-find Foods
I know it's a longshot, but hopefully someone here knows their Asian foods and where to find them
That's the best hot chili paste I've ever had the one time I found it at T&T, makes any soups amazing. Finally ran out and couldn't find it again at T&T, anyone happen to know where else might have it? Also searched online, but can't find any place that ships it to Canada

Anyways, it looks like they may have changed their logo a little bit, but this is the same company. Here's what I found:

No idea if they can ship to Canada. I'd offer to be your middle man, but customs already frowns on the items I send my sister and I'm sure I'm on a list somewhere.

Ya I found some similar looking chili pastes on Amazon, but the ones that do ship here are all $25 without factoring in shipping. I like the sauce, but not that much. Guess I'll just start hitting all the Asian markets around town and hope I get lucky

Phrasing?

Quote from Avenue Calgary, so maybe a place to check as well?

Arirang Oriental Foods
Tucked into the multi-level strip mall next to Community Natural Foods on 10th Avenue and 12th Street S.W., Arirang is bursting with interesting Korean ingredients and packaged foods to try out. Its aisle of sauces and condiments include more soy and fish sauces than you thought were imaginable, as well as a myriad of vinegars and containers of gochujang, the smoky fermented pepper paste that makes Anju’s chicken sliders so delicious. Don’t forget to gaze at the huge wall of packaged ramen and pick out one or two to take home to try.

Basha Foods in the NE may also be somewhere to check - 2717 Sunriddge Way N.E., 403-280-6797, bashafoods.ca, https://www.facebook.com/BashaInternationalFoods/

Well that's the problem, it's from Thailand, and there's no market to my knowledge that specializes in Thai stuff. I know of all the Vietnamese markets since my wife drags me to them all the time, kinda sucks that they're all in forest lawn though

You might have better luck checking at a Thai restaurant then and show them a pic of the condiment.

I have a relative in that area now. I'll see if he can bring a bottle back.

Surprised you can't find that in Calgary. In the US it's almost as common a Frank's. Walmart sells it for under $2/bottle:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Crystal-L...Fl-Oz/10535235
You could always add it onto a bigger order from here, or just buy a bunch of bottle to make the $20 shipping to Calgary worth it:
https://gourmetwarehouse.ca/louisian...t-sauce-177ml/
Edit:
Since it's being used for wings, this might be a better option:

If anyone can find Magnolia Bakery banana pudding equivalent in Calgary I would greatly appreciate it.
