Peeing more often. I used to be able to pound back beers like crazy and have to pee a couple times a night. Now I have a couple and have to take a piss every 15-20 minutes for hours.

Not to mention usually one in the middle of the night.

Nothing a prostate operation won't fix (a TURP -Transurethral resection of the prostate)

My eye doc called it mono vision, your non dominant eye is your reading vision. I’ve had lenses setup like you described for 3 years and it’s great. He said your brain just naturally figures it out any he’s right in my case. I seem to recall it’s not for everyone...I’d guess some people have more even eye sight/less one eye dominance.

You're peeing a lot because your prostate is getting larger and it is putting pressure on your bladder - thus reducing the capacity of your bladder and so you have to pee a lot more often. Mine got so bad I actually had to do something about it. It wasn't much fun, but once you get back to normal, you'll wonder why you suffered peeing every 1/2 hour or so.

Just got checked for diabetes and prostrate. Both fine, just having to pee in the middle of the night after a couple of beers. Doc says it just happens to some people.

That's part of the reason I got an app for the garage door. I can double check, close it, and it also sends me an alert if the door is left open for X number of minutes.

Dude, I don't have to pee every half an hour unless I am drinking beer. Otherwise my peeing is fine.

I am in denial, but I think I need reading progressive lenses or some kind of "half prescription / half no prescription). If I just go for some laser eye surgery now, will it fix both problems?

You couldn't tell whether or not you were lying on the floor or what?

When you hear your kids refer to the "1900s" as in "The Berlin Wall came down in the 1900s". Ugh.

Nope. You can fix for distance or for nearsightedness but not for both. You're screwed.

My eye doctor gave me about six different pairs of these to try all different configurations, I finally gave up, could not find a set that didn’t have issues with my vision of some sort. I was disappointed.

I was prescribed that about five years ago, and so far, so good. My non-dominant eye is 1.00 less than my dominant eye prescription-wise. That being said, I still bought some contacts from Clearly that have a low power in them just to see if would help and it definitely made a difference.
