Default Favorite Flame Goals

It's gonna be a long way until we see hockey again.

We have a memories thread just made, but I wanted to make a thread specifically for Post some favorite highlight reel goals made by Calgary Flames players.

Here is one I saw live in 2010 by Mark Giordano:

I do like how it was Jovo's jock left hanging from the rafters after that one.

Not a hilight reel goal per se, but one of the most memorable for me.

I loved Theo’s breakaway against the Oilers. And the celi. But I recall an even better breakaway against the same team by him, where someone cross checked him into the net after.

This beauty goal after an insanely dominant OT period by the Flames.

I was there for this one, bought tickets specifically to watch Iggy hit #50

Was totally worth it. Great game to watch live.

one of the first to come to mind was Nieminen's goal against Detroit in the 04 playoffs.

Goal at 2:11.

Stajan's go ahead goal game 7, Johnny's late tying goal game 3, Backlund's OT winner.

Probably 3 of the top 5 goals of the past 5 years.

For a couple seasons there between Hartley and GG tenures, the Flames were arguably the best in the game at OT. Soon as the clock passed 60 minutes, they just turned into bloodhounds, dominating posession and attacking the net with speed and relentlessness.

I remember chuckling at how poor other teams were in comparison, as I'm sure most CPers remember.

The Flames would never do the patented circle back into the zone for line changes, they just went for it every time and got most of their changes while attacking in the o-zone.

Jiri Hudler ties the game against the Bruins with 1.2 seconds left on the clock

Love how the Boston announcers call the goals

And the Gaudreau scores the overtime goal.

Not a big goal by any means, but it stood out to me because McGrattan gets the credit, who I love, but also since Tom Erixon puts it in his own net. Was laughing with my brother watching this one live at the dome

The Backlund pick pockets a Canuck and score a goal...goal.

And a Monny OT winner, dealers choice.

Owen Nolan with the goal to eliminate the Oilers playoff hopes in 2008. So good.
Loubardias was the Oilers announcer that season with Ferraro, thus the subdued tone.

3m5s mark or so to get to the goal.
