How many guys can make funny movies for more than a decade or so before they become tiresome? I can't really think of any.

Finished Bly Manor. I found the start to be a bit rough, the middle to be great, and the end to be underwhelming.
The fake accents didn’t bother me much but my girlfriends family is from England and it drove them all bonkers. Maybe I’m just not good at picking up on these things.
I found the horror elements to be a clear step down from Hill House. I’d almost go so far as to say it wasn’t even scary at all.
I hold Hill House in pretty high regard, but Bly Manor just couldn’t match it. I wouldn’t say it was bad, but just okay.

Although Away was boring at times it's something my wife and I both watched.
I just found "I'm not ok with this" funny and interested in more.

I haven't seen "Away" but I really liked "I'm Not OK With This". It sucks that they're going to just leave us hanging on that one.

Away was good, but I'm a big sucker for the near future science fiction. As long as you make a half hearted effort to obey the laws of physics in those shows you can get away with allot in my books.

Disappointed to hear about I am Not Okay With This. The season one ending was brilliant and did a great job setting up a 2nd.
I understand not every show can be renewed and COVID has an impact but Netflix ending shows on cliff hangers is becoming an annoyance. Either plan the shows longer term or have each season wrap up a story.

I've been watching The guild. A series about a group of socially awkward on line gamers that plays on every stereotype of on line gamers.
I don't know why but I've found it to be hilarious so far.

That really sucks. I'm on the verge of cancelling Netflix and moving my money to Crave. The only thing stopping me is Crave's ####ty stream quality.

Crave's quality in streaming is very dependent on device. My tablet has intermittent video chopping, but when I cast to any Chromecast I have it's flawless. The service will plunk out from time to time, but no moreso than any other streaming service.

The Crave app on my Samsung makes me reauthorize it with Telus every few days. What a pain.

Just finished 'The Trial of the Chicago 7.'
Fantastic movie. I really enjoyed it and everyone in it did a great job. Excellent casting and excellent performances.
Here is the thing, I hate Borat, I cant stand how stupid it is, but man oh man do I have a lot of respect for Sacha Baron Cohen....that man has serious acting chops, I really like him in almost everything I see him in.

I haven't seen The Trial of the Chicago 7 yet, but for me he's only been good in 2 projects (the first Borat and The Spy) and tolerable in another (Talladega Nights). I haven't liked anything else he's been in.

I loved him Les Miserables and Hugo among others.

Anyone seen season 2 of Unsolved Mysteries?
Season 2 is already better than season 1.
The episode where they women was found dead in Oslo was crazy. I couldn’t sleep last night.

Actually I hated it and stopped after episode 4.

I just finished the Chicago 7, I'll give it the thumbs up.
Got me invested in the sense of injustice. pretty prescient year for its release.
Edit:
Didn't even notice it was Cohen while watching the movie.
I also think Eddie Redmayne has been the best part of a lot of mediocre movies, I think its probably the best thing he's done.
