Every time Elf is on TV, I can't help but stop and watch it. I've probably watched it 3-4 times every Christmas since it's TV release. The same goes for Die Hard, but it doesn't get played nearly as much as Elf.

On a completely off topic, the 2009 Star Trek gets the same treatment. It was actually on TV every night when we were in Seoul, and watched it pretty much every night lol.

For me it begins and ends with A Christmas Story. That whole story is pretty much what I remember my childhood to be like.

Christmas Vacation is great too.

I always thought It's a Wonderful Life was vastly overrated.

Default Your Favorite Christmas Movies

Mine are pretty much the same as everyone else's. But I will add a vote for A Colbert Christmas. Willie Nelson singing about bringing pot to the Baby Jesus is hilarious!

Watched Love Actually this afternoon on Netflix based on the votes in this thread. I had never seen it before.

Claymation Rudolph. Best line in the show Donner to his wife when she wants to go find Rudolph. "No, This is man's work" Just so out of place now.

Also the use of Dentist as a euphemism for being gay.

Rudolph: You wouldn't mind my - red nose?
Hermey: Not if you don't mind me being a dentist.

Home Alone 1/2
Bad Santa
Die Hard
A Christmas Story
Jingle All the Way - I find this movie quite underrated. Cheesy Christmas humour.

For me, I have to watch the following movies on Christmas Eve or on Christmas Day:

- National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

and

- the original Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (the old stop-motion flick)

edit: to add: I need to get Rudolph on DVD or Blu-Ray

Just found out it was made in 1964. I thought it was older.
