Default Analysis: Flames playoff hopes are on thin ice (QC Times)

Unfortunately, with he attendance issues they are having, they had better get into the playoffs. If they think the attendance is bad this year, not making the playoffs will be devastating to this team next year.

After the third period tonight, and the "effort" of some of the players, it's pretty obvious that some of them have thrown in the towel already.

I dont think it will matter either way. If we made the playoffs we would probably get knocked out in 4. so woopie doo we have two more home games that we lose I would rather them going out on a winning note and I think we will all be suprised next year.

As drunk skunk saw tonight I dont take the fair weather thing all to well. dang escorts .

We rooted you on from the Upper Bowl. Then came charging down to the lower bowl to see what kind of damage we could cause The dude was gone though by the time we got down there.

What was my line? From spectacular to sloppy in one 20-minute intermission.

I don't know what the problem is this week....could Tatatukhin and Regehr being gone really make that much difference to the chemistry of this team?

Taratukin and Boyd had great chemistry . German was just along for the ride . Regehr and Skinner on the back end both made the nice break out plays .

But Kolanos and especially Stevenson have provided the offence of Taratukin and Boyd . So you can look at the rest of the team that didn't change and you can start pointing fingers .

You would think some of these guys would put the effort in . They are playing for contracts and call ups .

Thats just it Kolanos and Stevenson were on different teams last year and they have done everthing asked of them in the scoring department. we have to look at the guys that are here now that were on the team last year and figure what happend. I really wonder if McGill just cant get these guys to play for him that or our guys have early tee times that they cant miss.
