There's no denying that Liverpool are excellent, but I'm encouraged by how West Ham is playing. They have better structure as a team, and more pace up front than they have over the past couple seasons.

Shocking defending on Liverpool's second goal right before half, though.

I’m not a fan of VAR, but that was relatively pathetic.

West Ham probably never want to see Liverpool again. Four straight games Liverpool have scored at least four goals.

That City team is insane. Today they have KDB and Sane on the bench and it’s still maybe the best XI in the league? Unreal.

I get the same feeling from Liverpool this year that I got from Man City last year. Liverpool look machine like and Keita looks legit.
Also amazing goal by Sterling

Yeah, I would not complain if that was the case.
As for the game right now, I love those Man City away shirts. One of the best looking shirts in years IMO.

I mean yeah City are City, but Arsenal pretty much can't string two passes together, they look awful.

I believe in the Jays.

Keita is a fantastic player. I think throughout the course of this season he'll start to be in the conversation as one of the top players in the world at his position.

City "only" signed one player this summer, but Mendy is like a new signing as well. Delph did okay last year, but man, Mendy is a completely different beast ...
that squad is simply ridiculous. Just look at that bench ...

Cant go wrong with a 4-0 win to kick things off. And now Salah is chasing Mane!

Wow, things at Tottenham go from questionable to just plain a mess in terms of management and the new stadium. They have just announced that they can't host Liverpool in September and that both that match and Cardiff on Oct 6th, as well as the NFL game in October will be at Wembley. It's listed as "TBC" for a venue against City on the 28th of October.
I know very little about construction management on a project of this size, but what in the world is going on there that would put you basically 3 months behind? ENIC and Levy are going to get skewered on this. The fans don't like Wembley, and the atmosphere is just not good.

Liverpool winning the league is my gut feeling too.
City is still the favourite...but I just think they may have a couple surprise set backs this year.

As a Liverpool fan, I just can't see any way past Man City this year. Hope to be proved wrong of course, but I think they'll dominate just as much as they did last season. Liverpool should get 2nd spot though.

I agree, I dont see any way that Liverpool overtake City, but at the same time, I think they are once again going to prioritize the Champions League.

Spurs have to delay their first games in the new stadium. The September and October games are shifted back to Wembley, including an NFL game.

Liverpool and their fans sure like the rule of law I guess. At least they're even-handed about it though! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-eng...-while-driving

This season will be really fun to watch at the top. Chelsea are a wildcard here - no Champions League to distract (they will play a second string XI in Europa most likely), will depend on how long it takes them to adjust to Sarri. At the very least, they were tactically disciplined and avoided any blunders against Huddersfield. But they could mount a title challenge or be fighting for a European spot
Man Utd are primed for Mourinho's 3rd season meltdown
Spurs are same old - great first XI, minimal depth, and this stadium distraction now too
Arsenal are in a similar boat to Chelsea, just increase the amount of adjustment and they lack a true superstar like Hazard
I see 3 potential champions (Man City, Liverpool or Chelsea), Spurs being a top 4 lock, yet still not winning, and even though I have tabbed Chelsea as a potential champion, they are not a top 4 lock
