I heard stories about him going back to junior and his early days as a Bruin as well about him having a temper and getting into altercations with people. It was all internet chatter, but why I never wanted him on the Flames back when we traded for him. Just too much smoke about him being a jerk in real life.
Having said that, I liked him on the Flames after a while and started to think those stories may have been baseless. Now I am not so sure.

People make mistakes especially some folks who are intoxicated what ever they are on. Hope he learns from this grows as father who has little girls that should not see this behavior. Good luck looch get some help take a break from the alcohol.

Right. I have all the time in the world for people with substance abuse issues, especially those trying to improve, but if you're doing crap like this it's time to seriously get help and give up the booze. I do feel like Lucic is a genuinely decent person sober, but for christ's sake guy, man up and figure it out. Especially with this not being his first booze-induced meltdown it's absolutely unacceptable that he wouldn't address the problem years ago.
Now this time he's going to have to look his little kids in the eye after what he's done. I genuinely hope for his and especially his wife and the kids' sake that he cleans it up, but as of right now what a complete moron.

It's like going back to Boston saw him regress to his old ways when he was more of a loose cannon.
Felt like he really cleaned up his act in recent years, as maturing men often do. It's really unfortunate to hear.
Hope all parties recieve the help and support they need. The ones who'll pay the biggest price going forward are the young, impressionable children who deserve better.
Home should be a safe place. It should always be a safe place.
