Dave Hill will be in Calgary on the 27th. I need him to do the anthem before the Flames game like he does here.

^^^hahaha. I officially don't understand how physics works anymore.
Okay, on a second glance I can see how it works a little. Still mind-bottling.

You'd think that Pauly Shore playing Richard Simmons would be a disaster waiting to happen. It's quite the opposite:

I actually thought that Simmons might have died and that was just a nice tribute to him.

Apparently a spoon of liquid nitrogen dropped into a bowl of gasoline will do this. Very cool.

I am not saying I see a pentagram. But does anyone else see a pentagram?
I for one welcome our satanic overlord.

I wonder what Richard Simmons thinks of it. Apparently Shore was trying to make a full feature fill about Simmons, but Simmons has refused to sign off on it. That was quite a while ago, but I guess Paulie Shore is refusing to drop it.

I didn't read the story, but I saw headline that Simmons was mad about it and did not authorize it.

He just wants to be left alone. He used to be an attention hog so it was weird that he suddenly retired, and I get why people are curious about why he left the public eye, but his wishes should be respected.

Yeah, that said I don’t think he has a say, asking him was an unnecessary nicety. Unless they end up slandering him or something, he probably can’t do much about it. Still, I thought there was some concern he was being manipulated, which is why he wasn’t going out.

I haven't had occasion to think of Richard Simmons in years and had assumed I had missed word of his passing. I'm glad to hear he's still alive but sad he's become a recluse. Hopefully he's well, he's a good one. Good enough that I might come to tolerate Pauly Shore if he does a good job of presenting Simmons' life on screen.
