I have added Brian McGrattan and Drew Shore to the Adirondack roster. I have also added Shore's points with San Antonio, they are highlighted in purple so we can see the production with Adirondack separately.

Hey I've got an annoying request for ya
Could you add a PPG column so I could use that to sort by?
(and so we can all know exactly what Jankowski's current PPG is lol)

Yea, that's probably something I could work in.
Let me play around and see what I can do as only the AHL publishes actual PPG numbers. I think I could make a formula to work with the info on the sheet and have it spit out the number.

Yeah don't use AHL published numbers, just divide the points you already have in there by games

That was the plan.
I'm playing around now, so if the sheet goes wonky on anyone, just bear with me for a couple minutes here. I'm trying a couple of options which might make some numbers go weird. I'm aware of it.

It's already lookin good, thanks for that!
Our top 3 prospects in the AHL in PPG are not surprisingly (Shore, Poirier, Baertschi)

I think I've got it how it will produce the numbers based on the info entered.
Does that work for what you were wanting?
(No pressure when there are 13 people watching you mess around with a spreadsheet )

Was checking up on stats and noticed Kanzig is a +22 this year. +17 of that coming in the last 20 games since his trade to the Hitmen. Has anyone been watching him? If you have has he looked better as I notice he is 2nd on the Hitmen in plus minus. Has his skating improved?

I saw him about a week and a half ago, he's looking ok, skating needs to improve yet but that will come with time imo. He's being used in all situations, even a little pp time. He's good positionally, makes it very hard for guys to go around on the rush with his big body and long reach. I think the hardest thing for him is trying not to hurt guys out there, he's a full grown large man playing against smaller boys, having to bend over a lot of the time to rub guys out makes him look awkward at times. Think he may be a good pro at the AHL level for sure, high side woud be 6-7 dman imo.

This is the post I made after the Hitmen game Sunday afternoon. Haven't managed to get to any Hitmen games since Kanzig arrived so tried to focus on him.

Considering his very limited offensive game having such a high plus/minus has got to be a good sign. He's doing something right out there.

Does anyone else find it interesting that Jankowski and Poirier have similar PPG of 0.78/0.79 right now?
Even using NHLE AHL(0.44) vs. NCAA(0.41) it's quite similar. Jankowski is also only 3 months older than Poirier as well. Just something I saw that caught my eye as I do know that Jankowski's games played makes the sample size much smaller and tough to compare.

Interesting stuff, djs, thanks for posting. I am sure the usual suspect(s) will still show up to discredit anything that puts Jankowski in a positive light but putting number in context is always interesting.

It isn't about Jankowski it's about AHLE as related to the NCAA but some are easily offended.

They were all in their final years of college at that point plus were playing with ridiculously good talents (Gaudreau for Arnold, Brock Nelson+Girmaldi/Kristo+Frattin for 3 of Knight's PPG seasons, and Hanowski was 5th in scoring on his team when he hit his 31 points in 37 games). The only oddball is Agostino, where he progressed in his third year and then regressed in his fourth.
