I personally do not understand the sentiment of only supporting the logo on the front of the jersey. As far as I am concerned a team is made up of players, if someone feels no need to support or like those on the ice then the only reason they cheer for the team is because they think that the logo looks pretty. The logo does not make the Calgary Flames who they are, its the players on the roster.

Iginla is my favourite player of all time, I don't care where he goes, Edmonton, Vancouver, whatever, I'm still an Iginla fan. I'll still hate the Canucks and I'll still hate the Oilers, but if he gets his ring on one of those teams, good for him, he got what we all wanted him to get.

I'll just hate the Canucks and Oilers even more in the end

1)If he plays for the Flames
2)If he plays against the Canucks

How can anyone says that it's best for Iginla that he gets traded? Like they have some kind of say what is best for him.

What's best for him is is for him to decide what he wants and to get that. I'm really getting the sense that many of the people who will "support" him where ever he plays, will not continue to do so if he actually doesn't go anywhere. It's sad to see this.

I hope that if he wants to play for the Flames until he is 40, that they allow him to do that.
