Yikes. Mayfield gets blatantly highsticked and it isn't called, the Canes turn the puck back in quickly and Mayfield had gone over to complain to the ref, so both D were on the same side allowing Fast to score on the other wing.

That was a really bad missed call. No PPs for the Isles tonight, either. Then that happens. Going to be a ton of ticked off Isles fans, can't blame them. PP tonight: 6 for the Canes, 0 for the Isles. Ouch.

Islanders all over the Canes the last few minutes. Jarvis just batted away what was a sure goal with his glove to keep the Canes within 1. Love this atmosphere, Long Island crowd is bonkers.
UPDATE: And just like that, it's tied. Ain't that always the way right after a near-miss..
