Options are endless! Or I keep 16 which I’m perfectly fine doing as well.
6 GM auction, yuck!

Wanting to add more GM's, more yuck!

No auction at all. Just in talks with multiple people and somehow that pick is on them all. All very different which is why I was very clear on what I would accept back (please see 1 through 3).

You been gone too long and got rusty. Orrrrr it the yuck train catches on I keep 16….win win!

now that grids are out:

* RW Ryan Hartman (72 ov, RFA)
the smart play here is to re-sign him for one year, so he can be re-signed to a 3 year deal next year before he hits UFA. That means he'll make $4.5m on a one year deal this upcoming season, which is a more than reasonable deal for someone who comes off a breakout season in the NHL and has re-rated as a really good second line winger.

* RW Connor Brown (73 ov, RFA)
he's a year older than Hartman, so to get the max out of him, it'd have to be a 3 year deal at $6.0m. Not a bargain, but Brown has put up really solid numbers for years now and has re-rated as a top line forward. I'm willing to retain a million or two, maybe another one for 23/24 if you make it worth it.

ideal package is future-oriented, so picks and prospects. If a player comes back, I'd prefer a center or defenseman.

Max Pacioretty (74 ov, 1 yr at $8.0m) and Jamie Benn (71 ov, 2 yrs at $6.5m) remain on the block as well.

If someone wants a good young cheap forward, I’d look at moving Sonny Milano

69 ov and his cphl contract is only 0.625. Would obviously need value but he would make sense for teams in a cap crunch that want to add a middle sixer with upside

Gave up a 2nd and 3rd to get him, so value would need to be better than that

Pick 26 is my final pick of this years draft. Open to trading for future picks, prospects a roster player.

I would also drop a few spots if anyone wants to move up to this spot.

Ok newbs with crappy farm systems. The best way to get better farms is to draft and draft a lot.
I have 4 5th rounders and 1 4th rounder in this draft, 5 picks, 5 players for the price of one pick in the 3rd round. Can you pick the next Gaudreau? Why not try?

Scott Mayfield can be had. Willing to package him with pick #37 and/or a prospect for an upgrade.

Also open to move the following players
1. Erik Gudbranson 69 OVR owed 2.5 million. Looking for a similarly rated forward who can slide into my lineup in a middle six role
2. John Moore 67 OVR owed 0.75. Cheap contract for a depth defenseman. Looking for a 2023/2024 lower round pick, or a small amount of cap for next year.

I disagree Cheese. Best way to get a strong farm is to sign players.

It only costs about 10K to release an ECHL player, so you might as well fill it up. Signing is a good way to fill up the AHL level. I have my ECHL team full using five picks this year, but if I had more space I'd figure out a way to make more picks.

That said, pick value seems to change hourly. When you see a deal you like, jump on it.

Brady Tkachuk

I’ve had two pretty good offers on him but no deal done yet so I might as well let everyone know that he could move.

1st or 1sts need to come back or combination of a good player + 1st

Max Pacioretty (74 ov)
Connor Brown (73 ov)
Ryan Hartman (72 ov)
Jamie Benn (71 ov)
Matt Nieto (67 ov)
Jason Dickinson (66 ov)

primarily looking for picks and prospects. Would also be interested in flipping a winger for a center or defenseman.
