Hurts Era seems to be going well so far.

Sacks for a defensive back, not sacks in a season. Strahan still holds that at 22.5

Well hopefully the game today convinces Lurie that Howie is the problem and not Doug. I thought Doug coached a great game against a tough team. Hurts clearly provides a spark.

The whole team played with energy. As much as I rather miss the playoffs and get a good draft pick, I hope the Eagles play with that energy for the rest of the season.

Whoops, that's obviously right... not sure how I missed adding that in.

Offense turns the ball over 3 times? Fire the DC!!
Such a Gruden thing to do.
But they have severe issues on D for sure. In tough to make the playoffs now. Likely have to run the table and get some help.
Maybe Marinelli can get things straightened out.

You know that Diggs guy is one of the best receivers in the league, might want to consider covering him.

Steven Nelson you win a Superbowl in KC and trash the organization when you left. You are by far the only weak player on the Steelers D now. Love seeing Diggs light him up.

Take out that Murray hail mary and the Bills would be on their way to 11-2. I actually wouldn't mind if they won it all this year.

I have the AFC as chiefs. Bills. Steelers. And I think they will finish in that order too.
The bills will win out and the Steelers lose to a couple desperate teams in the colts and browns.

Is no one going to talk about what an absolute travesty Collinsworth was on commentary tonight? Sounded like a coked up hick.

After Tony Romo the color guys in the NFL are not great. I think Michael's and Colinsworth rate as the 2nd best broadcast duo but that's largely due to Al Michael's. Than the 2nd and 3rd teams that CBS has but that's more because Eagle and Harland are good pbp guys than what Charles Davis and Trent Green bring. Both of them are alright if not a bit bland. Daryl Johnson for me is the best guy left at Fox.
Maybe they can coax a guy like Manning into the booth one day.

You shouldn't have to score 40 or 50 a game to win...Raider O has been top 10 and the D has let them down all year
If they run the table they have a 94% chance of getting in so not too much help, running the table is another thing though

Such a Gruden thing to do? He should have fired Guenther last offseason and was way too loyal to him. The game was already over before the last two turnovers. It's been the worst defense in the league over his 3 years and was long overdue. This organization needs to hire a quality defensive coordinator as the two worst defensive coordinators in the NFL this season were Paul Guenther and KNJ who was the last Raiders defensive coordinator. IMO firing of Guenther was the best possible outcome for this organization as maybe squeaking into the playoffs would have given Gruden an excuse to bring him back for one more season. Now there is finally some hope that one day the Raiders may field a league average defense which is something they haven't had in decades.
I don't think some fans realize just how bad of a DC Guenther is;
Quote:
In nearly three full seasons with Guenther running the defense, the Raiders ranked last in points allowed per game (28.4), last in sacks (60), 31st in yards per play allowed (6.04), 30th in takeaways (47) and 29th in passer rating against (29th).

Manning would be terrible as a football commentator during live games. He might be okay as a football analyst for a pre game show. He just seems way to slow and doesn't bring out a lot excitement.
