The Chantel and Anfisa sagas from 90 day are peak reality TV.

I saw a guy on Temptation Island who arrived with his super hot girlfriend, banged this other super hot girl his fight night on the island, on camera. Went on to have a threesome with that girl and another one (or it may even have been two new girls, still super hot). Gets in a huge fight with his girlfriend and they break up. Later on the post season "tell all" show, he's back together with his original girlfriend who is staunchly defending him and herself against accusations from the other 2/3 girls, who are all obviously still super into the guy and want him for themselves.

Usually I consider these shows background noise my SO is addicted to, but that was some incredible television.

It's still a USA network show, don't get your hopes up.

Netflix's library of true crime series continues to grow, The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez might be the best one yet but the hardest to watch. My partner and I are two episodes in and she mentioned how difficult it'll be to continue.

I cant get into this, I've tried i fall asleep in every episode and have to keep going back. I find it tortuously slow

Not the ideal word to use to describe this documentary about a child getting tortured?

I found it to be very, very well done. Ridiculously hard to watch because of the subject matter.

You watch true crime series with your business partner?

Castlevania Season 3 is out today. Like I said before, it's a continuation of the better telling of Dracula than that other show on Netflix.

I was going to do an effortpost when I had time today, but some of the big ones have been covered.

Obv Love Is Blind is pretty great.

Love Island, 90 Day Fiance (is probably the hardest to watch show on TV holy ####), Temptation Island are all real good places for extreme cringe and crazy brainworm people.

Married At First Sight is simply bizarre, not as cringy as you would think but has some really extreme moments.

Blind Date is back on TV and is somehow even more trashy than it was in 2003.

Snapped is reallllly weird but addictive.

Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club one and done series was whacked out as you would expect.

Also there is a lot of 90 Day Fiance to drag yourself through, and some of it is just boring, or constantly yelling at the TV about how blind one idiot is to their manipulative to-be spouse, but when it's good(bad) it is sooooo good(bad). Like, take the cringiest episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, multiply it by 10x kind of area.

I actually enjoyed the first two seasons until it fell into the usual reality show BS.

There's 2 seasons of the American version.
After you get through those, check out Temptation Island. Probably my favourite of the trash dating shows.
What kind of a couple thinks that could actually be a good idea??

I haven't seen any of these shows, but I'm killing time during lunch, so decided to read the wiki of Temptation Island. This random tidbit popped out.

Quote:
Evan is the son of Gavin Smith. On the show, Evan broke up with Kaci to begin a relationship with Morgan Lolar. Evan and Morgan were engaged until he cheated on her with a horse.

Ha! Blind date!

Back in University my roommates and I would stay up until midnight and bet on every date. I remember doing quite well. That show was so bad it was fantastic.

Yeah I remember staying up late to watch that show. It was reality TV before reality TV was the big thing it is today.

Ha ha - this is a shame watch for me, but there are live show threads on Reddit that make it so much fun. If you stay on the thread while you are watching the show it makes the experience so much better!

Love is Blind Reunion Show last night was surprisingly self-aware and insightful. That dude is still banging Gigi, so blessings upon him and his house.

Super uneventful was hoping for drama. Gigi is absolutely insane her 0-60 attitude is mind blowing for me, that man gets what he signed up for

I was hopeful when Amber started calling out a Jessica hard, but that was probably the most mature Jessica during the whole series. The producers should’ve fed her wine beforehand.
