Seems like the Falcons have been able to strike a deal with Ryan to push back the bonus until Tuesday in order to figure out the Watson situation.

In defense of Baker there aren't many careers where your employee it is made public that they are kicking the tires on a replacement for the job you currently hold. It has to feel humiliating.

Carr's best seasons (like most QBs) have been when he's had a good offensive line. In his best season, the Raiders had the #2 line in the NFL.
I don't think Carr's "bad" by any stretch. But he's definitely in the Kirk Cousins tier of QBs.

Apparently a fully guaranteed (!!!) five year, $230 million extension got him to change his mind. Browns were obviously very desperate here, but with purgatory looming you gotta be desperate sometimes.
