I'm going with the assumption that Pasquotti will be one of the announcements.
As for the new signing, I genuinely have no idea. Would love to see William Akio but I think he has one year left at UT-RGV.

One name being thrown around is Bruno Zebie, who was Edmonton's starting RB for most of last year. Plays a similar game to Adekugbe and played two years with Tommy at Foothills.
Would be a fit for sure.

There's a name that hasn't come up much lately, Adekugbe.
He started the season so strong, looked like a motor in play development.
Then he played a game, I believe against Forge, where he was both outmatched, and outnumbered (2 cm vs 3cm).
Did that shatter him? Was he injured? I can't recall.

He was injured in the August 25th game against Forge and missed most of the rest of the season. I think he made 2 starts after that. Part of it is also that it was around that time that we switched to playing 4 at the back which kind of removed Adekugbe's spot on the field.

I’m glad Ottawa is happening, and so quickly after the Fury situation unfolded. Ottawa is most populous market that doesn’t already have a team in either CanPL or MLS, and having a presence in the capital and another team in Ontario is good for the league.
I’m not sure how the league will go about sharing their hard on between Forge and Ottawa, but it’ll be good banter and make them easy to hate.
