Raw emotion in the players on this team. Love Oshie. Love Ovi. Love Holtby. Love Smith-Pelly.

Also Alex Chiasson is a Stanley Cup Champion!

Thanks to the Caps for taking out the Lightning, watching them celebrate another Cup might have pushed me over the edge.

From the game #6 of the Pens series to the cup winning game I don't recall seeing a more.... don't want to say dominant, but inspired run for a cup for a very long time.
You could feel the sheer will by OV to get there. And it showed once the clock ran out tonight.

I loved it. Loved the way they overcame adversity instantly almost. Loved how the coaches got the players to adapt and destroy pretty much anything the opposition threw at them.

This is the happiest I have been for a Stanley Cup winner since 2012 and 2011.

Nice to see Alex host the cup. He deserves it. I'm happy for him.

I was cheering for Vegas, but I am very happy for Ovi.

Outside of a Flames win, that may have been the most satisfying end to a season possible.

This caps win again shows it takes a TEAM to win the cup not one player... Good luck Oilers!

Kuznetsov and Backstroms contracts combined is only 1 mill more than McDavids.

This one has 1989 tingles all over it. Team that was great for so long but couldn’t vanquish their enemy until now. I think the Caps are right there with Flames in futility, just above Vancouver.

They got their break and bam got their cup. Wouldn’t let it go. Watching the Flames in ‘89 they were far from sure despite their talent but persevered to a first cup.

What a great story

Such a great moment of genuine happiness combined with relief when Ovechkin hoisted the cup.

I don't know how anyone here could be cheering for Vegas after how our season series went against them. Like the two most frustrating games that weren't against Edmonton were probably against the Knights...

As much as I was cheering for Vegas, I have no problem with this result. The Caps played like full out champions and it is super nice seeing the Ovi celebration and the Conn Smythe to him. This is a very deserving team to be the cup winners this year.

This James Duthie segment from the middle of the on ice celebration with Jay and Dan is classic. It’s too bad they had to cut away.

He almost certainly hedged and took home about 1.3 million.
