Just tried to take on a bow tie pizza tonight and I was no match for it as I tapped out after two pieces. The good news is I will have leftovers for a bit

I had the same experience. For my money Papa John's NY Style was better.

Had one of those once. Gross. Needless to say, I never called him for a second date.

I’ve tried Pizza Culture 2-3 times now, for both take out & dine in, I really wanna like it but I’m always left wishing I’d gotten Una instead.
It’s certainly not terrible or anything, but it just doesn’t quite hit the mark for me.

WOP/POW owner has been waging a long social media war with CBC food writer and local cook Julie Van Rosendaal. Recently he sent her a threatening email that included a picture of her son. It makes me want to build a time machine solely for the purpose of changing the 5 instances that I visited those pizza places.

Can confirm Sunday Pie is legit, it’s mega thick but quite light focaccia base. The normal pickup spot in the alley behind Wednesday Room was blocked off for construction though, hopefully that gets finished soon.

I went half pepperoni and thought their crust was delicious
I actually did like Pizza Project quite a lot but it seems to have shut down fairly quickly. Disappointing

Pizza wraps made on a bbq while camping are underrated

Go on.
Do you cook a pizza then roll it up? Or do you put pizza ingredients in a tortilla?

It is so ####ing good.
The only complaint I have is on me.
Like an idiot I ordered a personal size. While it was probably enough food, it wasn't "enough" food. I wanted to eat more and taste it more.
Such a great little pizza

Soft tortilla shell laid flat then tomato sauce spread all over (real tomato sauce from the Italian market not just the canned stuff). Then sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese all over then the toppings. Exactly like you were going to put it in the oven. Pineapple isn't good as a topping b/c the water seeps out and makes the wrap messy. Then wrap like a burrito in tin foil and cook on a BBQ at about 500 for around 15 minutes turning once or twice so both sides cook evenly. When it's done take off the tinfoil and eat like a burrito, or with a knife and fork if you prefer. The cheese, sauce and toppings are all mixed together and the cheese is melted. Serve with a cold beer.
I found this out by trial and error one day when camping, I felt like pizza but we were too remote for delivery and had all the stuff to make our own except the crust. It takes a bit of practice to get the cooking time right but when its done properly it's awesome

so over a year ago my in-laws (who live in red deer) tried royal pizza and they loved it, and they wound up giving us a $100 gift card. At that time the only Royal Pizza was way in the NW and we live way in the SE - so we put off using the card for a while.
Last week i was driving up mcLeod and noticed a royal pizza where teh Bike Shop used to be, so tonight we will be using our card as I have an errand that gets me somewhat in the area.
a co-workers who lives in the NW raves about this pie, so looking forward to dinner tonight
Edit/update. The pizza was alright. Maybe like 8.25/10. I would have liked a slightly crispier crust and the sauce seemed a little bland.

Wow Pizza open now on 130th Ave - any reviews?
Also, a plug for Rare Pizza in Red Deer - sampled the goods last summer one weekend at Pigeon Lake months before they went live and yeah - that's good eats!

I like Best Choice Pizza as it's around the corner from me and you can't go wrong with Atlas
