Okay, what’s the site with the easiest way to upload photos to post here? I had an account somewhere but can’t remember where it was.

Free, no account needed. It depends what you are posting from for how-to.

once you have an image link, from the advanced edit window you click on the cute mountain/sun icon and paste it there.

I like postimages.org. It’s easy to use with the phone browser and I can set a time-to-live.

I have one - I saw on one of the streaming services that a movie was available to watch with an ASL (American Sign Language) feature for deaf people. My question is, what is the advantage of this for a deaf person vs. just watching it with the subtitles? Not being judgmental or anything, just genuinely curious. I feel like it would be more distracting and difficult to follow someone doing sign language on screen (plus likely to lose some of the nuance of the dialogue) instead of just reading it, but obviously I'm not deaf so have no real context here.

  1. American Sign Language isn't English. It's a unique language by itself.
  2. Not everyone, deaf or otherwise, can read.
  3. Not everyone who can read, deaf or otherwise, is able to read fast enough to keep up with subtitles.

A special needs kid wearing an Oilers shirt waves to you. Do you wave back?

Regarding sign language. Is sign language a "universal" language so to speak. If you can sign, can you sign with someone from Italy or Brazil? Or is signing country/language specific? It's a genuine question I've thought about many times...but never asked till now.

Has fun developed as an adjective? I posit so. Ergo, comparative use is funnest of all.

It's not. Weirdly there's even British Sign Language that is different than ASL. I don't know why they didn't make it standard but I guess they developed desperately.

I can think of a couple of British expressions I'd love to know how to pronounce in sign language...

Can the mods go through and remove posts / ban users who have posted anything other than questions in this thread?

Will you accept an apology for my grammatical failure? Would a question mark ending “All of them?” Given rise to an assumption I aspire to wokeness?

No, there can be no leniency in this thread! (Not singling you out, there are other culprits too)

Shouldn't you word this in the form of a question?
