The first originally belonged to Vancouver before being dealt to TB for JT Miller

That's a strong price to pay but definitely one TB can afford to pay whereas Calgary cannot.
Usual steep prices paid for by legit contenders before the deadline rush.
This may be also why we have not seen Tree pull the trigger on anything yet because prices haven't come down yet.
But ,if these prices stick at this current state the Flames should definitely be shipping out their Expendable assets ASAP. You can bring in some good stock.

good trade for TB in pushing for a Cup run and smart trade for NJD to cash in and get some major pieces for the future.
Glad Calgary didn't try to win that trade considering the price paid for Coleman

Wasn't there a rumour in the summer the Flames wanted Coleman. Most were saying no thanks we have enough Coleman's already. He just landed 2 firsts? Devils did very well. If that the price the Flames need to sell.
