Remakes of most of Mario's catalogue of games coming to the Switch this year?

Remakes of Galaxy? Sunshine? Mario 64?!

I wouldn't trust Eurogamer by itself, but others are confirming, so this does seem like a possibility.

Just give me a control option that isn't dependent on motion controls, please.

Man my kid loves 3D Mario and I’ve been sad I don’t have a way to easily get him in to the older games, this would be amazing. Especially Galaxy, my personal favorite of the series and one of my favorite games ever, period.

Galaxy 1 had a top 5 video game OST, IMO.

I still listen to Galaxy's OST sometimes, I agree one of the best games ever.

And Rosalina > Peach THERE I SAID IT

If you ever want a real challenge go get all the red coins in Mario Sunshine. It's a really under rated game.

I've always despised macguffin collecting as a method of extending a game. I love Mario games, but they are all 5-10 hour games artificially stretched by "collect 3 coins" things. Though, ironically, I appreciated Mario Odyssey for dropping all pretense and making itself all about being a collectathon. That said, on my second play through, I didn't bother going for more than the minimum number of stars to advance.

Finally got into Ring Fit Adventure... I injured myself (unrelated) right when I bought it, so haven't played it much. Right now, it's almost the only real workout I'm getting...

Split out Animal Crossing discussion to its own thread.

So can I use any brand of MicroSD in the switch or should I use the Nintendo brand?

It doesn’t have to be Nintendo brand. Get a good quality brand like SanDisk with a high transfer speed.

+1.

I'm using a Sandisk in mine that I had in the GoPro with zero issues.

That's what I put in. I prefer to buy physical games though so me and the GF can share them. I think I have 3 games downloaded to a 128 and am nowhere close to full.

Avg full size game seems to be 7-16 GB.

I got a 400GB and it's about half full, but that's with all of my 80+ games on it. 128 should be good for most people though.

I've got a 64GB, but I also buy physical wherever possible. Not even close to filling it yet.
