sorry guys, i had totally forgot about this thread!

update: my boss has gone on maternity leave and the powers that be have decided to divide duties minimally to many people, so very little extra work involved on my part.

thanks for all the comments! certainly more opinions here that i had not considered and found to be valuable.

Sucks for your boss to be so easily replaced.

Are they just completing tasks like everyone else?

no, but we do have a very talented group in our department who i would consider us all over qualified due to experience.
