Yeah I don’t think Brodie is getting Spurgeon money on the open market. Still looking at around $6 million IMO though.

Will be interesting to see if they go long term with Rasmus.

Just a prediction but I feel Brodie or Hamonic will be a Leaf next season. It appears Brodie may have been their first pick over Barrie and the Leafs were the other team bidding against the Flames to land Hamonic.

Pretty good assumption considering the Leafs only have Rielly on the books for next season. Everyone else is a UFA/RFA. Plus, a RD will be needed with how terrible Ceci has been.

I could see that but Leafs, even with all the money freed up on D, are going to be cap constrained presumably. A guy like Brodie may want to play there so Leafs wouldn’t need to win a bidding war.
