Just took a look at the A. Flames stats and noticed Reinhart is currently sporting a 2.4% shooting percentage. What a difference that would make if he could get scoring.

Any thoughts on where Knight and Baertschi might slot into the line up if they are sent down as Stajan and Raymond return?

Reinhart just isn't having any luck. He's working hard, he's taking shots, he's usually among the shot leaders each game and just nothing is going in. I believe he hit 2 of the 3 posts they got the other night, so that kinda shows how his year is going. There's nothing obvious to say "Well if Reinhart did this, he would have more goals". It's frustrating to watch as a fan, I can't imagine how he feels.

If sent together (or close), I think Knight and Baertschi would probably be the first/second line with Setoguchi. That Baertschi-Knight pairing is one that has been together since the Heat and if they are deeming them the most NHL ready, I could see Seto getting a spot on that line and having one NHL-ish line getting chemistry together. Wolf also started the season on a line with Knight and Baertschi so that's another good possibility for a RW on the line.

Getting caught up here:

Joey MacDonald in the net for the Bulldogs.

Lines for Flames:

Hathaway-Reinhart-Setoguchi
Van Brabant-Arnold-Poirier
Hanowski-Vause-Elson
Spurgeon-Tousignant-Reid

Wotherspoon-Potter
Cundari-Yonkman
Culkin-Acolatse

Ortio

Spoke to the Flames PBP guy, says Agostino and Wolf both have upper body injuries and considered day to day. Sieloff and Stevenson are both injured as well. Ramage is out due to illness, believed to just be getting wrecked by the flu, possible that's what Reinhart had. Gillies was scratched.

Flames started off the 1st down 0-4 in shots but looks like they caught up quickly and leading shots now 11-10.

Tousignant and Dowell getting into a little scuffle. Looks like Tousignant on the worse end of that as he was bleeding pretty quickly.

No goal on the PP, but the Flames at least spent most of the time in the Bulldogs zone

Huska interview:

Worst loss of a season Saturday. The team was emotionally involved in the Utica game, and lost all energy and push when Griffins put them down by 2 goals.

Disappointed they couldn't get the crowd involved in the Griffins game as it was a huge crowd. Would have been like having a 7th player on the ice and they didn't get to use that. Want to get that back on track.

Veteran players need to show the younger guys how to care for themselves for the long stretch coming up. 10 games in 19 nights and the guys need to do a good job recovering after games and getting rest. Leaders need to leader to make sure players are ready to go.

Spurgeon impressed in camp and he is a pro. They are excited to have him on the team. Expect an honest effort. He gives them the ability to roll 4 lines against Hamilton.

Flames need to play with the pace of Hamilton. Bulldogs are a fast team and they need to compete and make them use their pace against them. If Flames play slow or dump and chase, Bulldogs will make them pay.

Flames need to have better shifts after scoring. They need to go back out with the same push and be solid. Too many quick opponent goals after Flames goals and it needs to change.

I don't think anyone else is watching, but if they are, is your feed working? Mine isn't. I'm stuck on radio broadcast only so this the updates are going to be kinda reliant on the broadcast.

Ortio is a big save on the Bulldogs after a 2 on 0 rush.

Sena Acolaste going off for Slashing. Flames going to the first PK of the night.

Wow, Yonkman sounded like he snapped. Sounds like a one sided beating by Yonkman on Nevin I think.

What a night for the feed to die.
