Default Pumpkin Patch/tacky petting zoo recommendations?

So we want to take babe to a pumpkin patch, hoping they haven’t been harvested yet. Maybe see some animals. Best?

Butterfield Acres
Cobbs
Farmyard
Something else?

COP is having a "Pumpkins after Dark" event, not sure if that fits your bill but we're going to take our 2 young boys this year.

what metric(s) will you use to determine best?

frankly, just take your kids to the closest one, in the end they wont care as long as they get to touch some animals

5 years ago the Butterfield Acres pumpkin was great for kids. Had a hayride out to the field which had pumpkins hidden by staff around the field. The kids of course had to "find" them.

So kind of cheesy for adults, but the kids of course, thought it was great.

She’s not even a year old, so best being more like ‘most likely to have cute pumpkin patch photo opportunities’ for mom and ‘least likely to cost me $100 for a photo of a pumpkin.

I was at the Crossroads Farmers Market a few weeks ago and they had a petting zoo set up out front, it was quite popular by the looks of it. It’s fall now but you could probably call them and see if they still have it for Thanksgiving.

I’d recommend putting her in the pumpkin bin outside most grocery stores as none of the above meet your criteria.

We did that last year. The exhibits look great and the only real downside is that they aren't real pumpkins but nevertheless it's worth it especially if you have kids.

The saskatoon farm has a wagon display by the entrance with pumpkins on it. It's in the way to okotoks.
