I hope we see many different looks of the powerplay units for the remainder of camp. I like that Sutter knows he has a fairly substantial amount of options to tinker with.

After 14 hours, was a good game to see.
Weegar and Zadorov looked solid.
Soloyov looked ok with Stone. Seemed like a few 1% errors.
Toffoli looked out of step. Would add that I don't think that line has gelled completely yet. Could be a slow start and peak later in the year
Fighting line performed tonight

I mean I get that the Oilers were playing a decidely minor league lineup. But lets be honest, Our Goalies could have left the net, gone and made sandwiches and came back and the Oilers wouldn't have been a threat.
Holloway their uber prospect . . . . more like Hollowthreat. Virtanen is the same old dead arm in a new jersey.
After the game, Woodcroft was over heard saying to Virtanen "Fat, slow and Stupid is no way to go through life son". Then he addressed the rest of the team "You're out, you're finished, I want you all out of this dressing room by 9:00 tomorrow morning. And you'll all be pleased to know that I've informed your local draft boards that your all eligible for military service".
When reach for comment after the coaches outburst, Tyson Barrie stated that he still liked Woodcroft more then Draisaitl and McDavid who are both major $$$$$$$$.

I know that Draisaitl and McDavid make big money, but I've read that last sentence over a few times and still don't quite know what it's saying. They're both major money? Or like the money signs are meant to unconventionally be in place of a swear word?

I’m very happy Zadorov - Weegar went well. Maybe we can do three relatively equal pairs with complementary players and equal playing time?
Hanifin - Tanev, Kylington - Tanev, Zadorov - Weegar

You mean Hanifin - Anderson.
Tanev is good but we can't double shift him all year

Having Weegar at 3.25m, right handed, and plays either side is such a luxury.

Kylington hasn’t been on the ice yet. Doubt he’s starting opening night.
I’d start Stone.

I guess I'm hoping young Kylington is back from his personal/family leave in time for the season...If not, I'd like to see the Flames try Mackey with the same general configuration. The reason is I want L-R, L-R, L-R.

Do we loop the parade up 9th and then over to 17th, or do we start on the Red Mile first?

I think we likely need to put a damper on that hope. The way that Steinburg has talked about Kylington in the past week suggests that he will not be back any time soon. I am guessing that he will miss the start of the season.
