Some of those are just crazy. Life sentences for conspiracy to distribute marijuana?
Anyone in jail for non-violent drug charges for anywhere close to that long should have their sentences commuted IMO.

Lots of non-violent drug offence pardons. Allegedly Ivanka and Jared had a hand in that. Not terrible.
Trump pardoning Bannon removes his ability to plead the fifth, so he better hope there’s no dirt Bannon has on him.

Probably already discussed, but it was reported that his legal team advised him not to pardon family members for anything because you can still be held accountable in a civil court even if you are pardoned, and that pardoning them would just make them appear guilty. So unless they were already convicted of something, you could be hurting more than helping if you issue a pardon.

Just the name of the day syndrome. He blew up a barn full of crocodiles, shot a lady's horse as she was leaving after she thanked him profusely for saving it after she brought it their for refuge, tried to have someone murdered, killed dozens of healthy tigers because they didn't bring in money anymore. My understanding is most of those cases were old and drug laws have been revamped since. Back in the day I think convictions had an minimum 30 year sentence.
