You got to think that barring injury Howse has got to be a favourite to be the WHL's top goal scorer this season.

Howse is only 4 points behind the leading scorer, but he played 3 games less. So he can potentially be the WHL's top scorer.

Much like the Parent club, the Heat had an atrocious game last night. Beaten 5-0 in their home opener.

I was at this game. The attendance was crazy! I've been to quite a few games last year, and opening night had an attendance of 5,341. I was very impressed by the turnout.

However, knowing that the arena was pretty full, the Heat should've played hard as ever, but they were sloppy for the whole game. Last night was their chance to impress alot of people and perhaps get some of those people to come back in the future.

Irving was god-awful. Rheault and Armstrong got in a fight in the 3rd period. Watt got kicked out of the game. These were basically the highlights of the night.

Haha, no worries.
I was pretty sure they didnt drop them and fight each other on the ice. Thought they might of been yelling at each other or something.

Ryan Howse continues the insane pace with another hat trick - make it 14 goals in 9 games. Bennett got another goal, and Reinhart and Leach each notched an assist.

It was a natural hat trick for Howse also.
Apparently he got all 3 goals in 57 seconds, wow.

The Heat lost 4-3 in a shootout - Keetley made 18 saves on 21 shots.

Heats goals

Armstrong from Bancks and Meyers
Keith from Seabrook and Wahl
Seabrook from Wahl and Cameron.

WHAT!?!! Is that even humanly possible???

Edit: Apparently it is humanly possible as Jim Harrison of the Estevan Bruins did the same thing Dec. 4, 1966, scoring three goals in 24 seconds against the Regina Pats.
