Only two teams ever have finished a 162-game schedule with fewer than 50 wins. Both the Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Royals are on pace to do it -- and that's before they go into trade-deadline sell mode.

Given where both of those teams were a couple years ago, I'm shocked. KC especially considering many teams were wanting to duplicate their model. Admittedly I've only followed the Jays this year so I haven't noticed that, but it's a crazy stat that you've pointed out.

Descalso has pitched several times in the past for both the D-Backs and the Cardinals. As a position player, he's got a great cutter and a pretty decent four-seamer. I love that Lovullo brought Daniel in to pitch again!

Alex Avila came in to pitch the last couple innings and faired pretty well. Love how both the Indians and Rockies put up 19 runs on the same day.

Maybe...that was a fun home run derby though.
I have no issues with guys having some fun and showing some emotion in an event that is there for some fun and for the fans.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Harper, but seeing him hit like 10 HRs in one minute to come from behind and win was pretty fun to watch.
I wish Hoskins would have made it to the final. That swing was smooth as butter and a good contrast to Harper why was all herky-jerky at the plate. Still a pretty fun watch with the timed format.

Missed the event, what did Harper do to make himself look even more overconfident?

Reported that Machado was traded to the Dodgers.
ASG going to extras after a 2 run HR in the bottom of the ninth to tie it up. Looks like Happ will be in to pitch the 10th.

Votto homers off Happ on the first pitch. NL down by two now.

Is this what Karl feels like when he posts all those times in a row in the Jays thread? It feels weird.

Did they do that on purpose? Expos caps every team for an all-star game in Washington?
